Prenatal Breastfeeding Class: June Class

Service Description

What to expect: In this class gathering, you will be able to learn what your baby needs and how you and your body can continue to nourish your baby outside of the womb. The class will have hands on activities and will give mamas and their partners the knowledge and confidence to work toward their breastfeeding goals. What is covered: How your body makes and maintains milk, baby's hunger cues, baby's milk needs, recognizing milk transfer, latch and positioning, weight gain and diaper output, focus on maximizing rest, breastfeeding items, taking time to heal, and enjoying this time with your baby. ​We will also cover breastfeeding friendly yoga poses, and how to comfortably wear baby with baby wraps/slings. Who should register: The breastfeeding class is done in the prenatal period, and while mothers OR couples can join at any time, it is most beneficial to be prepared before the 8th month of pregnancy. The class is limited to 10 coupled slots. Investment & Contact info: $100 covers your reserved spot, light refreshments, and a gift package. This class must be pre-registered and pre-paid before attending. Location: Nonna Mama Me (95 E. Montrose St. Suite B Youngstown, Ohio 44505) When: Saturday, June 28 from 10 AM- 12 PM Payment: Please read for the two options to pay: Pay in-person at the time of the class. Payments accepted include cash or Venmo. NO credit cards will be accepted at the time of the class. However, if you wish to pay with a credit card, you may do so when booking online. (Please note: If paying by a credit card online, you may be charged additional fees in order to process your transaction). Cancelation Policy: Cancelations made within 24 hours of the class may be nonrefundable and nontransferable. However, we do understand when things happen and will do our best to accommodate changes.
